The main subject of the research laboratory LUK is a determination the optimal configuration for small local cogeneration systems that can be used to supply electricity, heat, and other necessary utilities (cold, hot water, air for ventilation) for individual buildings. The concept of this type of laboratory research and education is an important element to meet current criteria for energy security and environmental requirements relating to the limitation of CO2 emissions and other harmful substances.
